Video poker is different from Texas Hold’em

In video poker you play against a paytable rather than other people’s decisions. There are no bluffs, positions at a multiplayer table or a pot funded by opponents. The prize depends on the final combination and the title’s rules.

How a hand is formed

In a classic draw format, you receive cards, choose which to hold and replace the rest. The final hand is then compared with the paytable. Jacks or Better indicates a particular role for a pair of jacks or higher; Golden Joker Poker adds its own wild-card conditions. Do not automatically transfer a strategy from one game to the other.

In Multihand, an initial selection can lead to several resulting hands. Read when a decision is shared and when each deal occurs. More hands increase exposure and do not turn a poor initial selection into a better decision.
