How Piñata Points and its nine loyalty levels work
Piñata Points is the platform’s loyalty programme: 1,000 points equal a €1 reward. Points depend on the amount wagered, the account’s level and the game category. Rewards are calculated on Mondays at 12:00, rounded down to whole euros and must be claimed within seven days. They are not a refund of all gambling losses.

The formula: stake, level and game category
The programme multiplies three components: amount wagered × level multiplier × game multiplier. The result is points, subsequently converted at €1 per 1,000 points. The deposit amount is not part of this formula: depositing €50 and wagering only €5 does not generate points on the remaining €45.
| Category | Game multiplier | Relative effect |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | 1.0 | Full reference contribution |
| Virtual casino | 0.1 | One tenth for the same stake and level |
| Live casino | 0.1 | One tenth for the same stake and level |
This distinction prevents treating slot and roulette turnover as equivalent. It does not change the games’ probabilities. If a category is not clearly identified, review the programme detail before estimating its contribution. The treatment of a wager depends on Piñata’s classification of that game.
What changes between levels

The programme has nine levels. Each establishes a multiplier and maintenance requirements. The reward is not a universal percentage: at the same level, a slot wager and a casino wager produce different amounts.
| Illustrative level | Level multiplier | Theoretical slot equivalent | Casino/live equivalent |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.5 | 0.05% of wagers | 0.005% |
| 2 | 1.0 | 0.10% | 0.01% |
| 5 | 1.4 | 0.14% | 0.014% |
| 9 | 2.5 | 0.25% | 0.025% |
These are mathematical equivalents before rounding and settlement rules. A 0.10% rate means €1 for every €1,000 wagered, not €1 for every €1,000 lost. It provides useful perspective: the reward is small relative to wagering volume and does not justify increasing a budget to pursue a level.
A higher level does not guarantee a profit
A larger multiplier generates more points for the same wager, but game outcomes remain uncertain. The programme does not make a strategy profitable or necessarily offset the casino’s mathematical edge. Use game rules and RTP to compare games; use a separate personal limit to decide how much to spend.

Three calculations, including rounding
At level 2, €100 wagered on slots generates 100 × 1 × 1 = 100 points. That is equivalent to €0.10 before weekly activity is combined and rounding applied. In live casino, the same €100 produces 100 × 1 × 0.1 = 10 points, equivalent to €0.01.
A weekly total of 2,750 points has a mathematical value of €2.75. Because the reward is rounded down to whole euros, that settlement produces €2. Do not round to the nearest euro or expect a €3 payment. The amount displayed in the account is the reference for claiming the awarded reward.
A points calculation is not a suggested wagering target. Wagering €1,000 can involve repeatedly reusing the same balance and exposes it to repeated losses. If your planned limit is reached before a reward threshold, keep that limit: stopping is a valid decision even when points remain pending.

The reward rounds down to whole euros. Your account shows the applicable multiplier.
Weekly settlement and the seven-day claim window
Piñata calculates rewards on Mondays at 12:00. After settlement, open the Piñata Points area to see the amount awarded and the deadline shown in the account. You have seven days to claim it; an unclaimed reward expires.
- Sign in and open Piñata Points.
- Check the weekly settlement and its euro amount.
- Read the expiry date and any accompanying conditions.
- Claim the reward using the available control.
- Confirm the corresponding balance or transaction-history entry.
Weekly expiry and monthly level review are separate processes. Claiming a reward does not ensure that your level will be retained the following month. If a transaction is missing, note the week, visible points and amount expected from the formula; the support team can then investigate specific information.
Monthly review and freezing a level

Maintenance points are reviewed on the first day of each month. If the account does not meet its level’s requirement, it drops one level. After the monthly review, the points counter resets to zero whether the level is retained or reduced. Check the exact target for your current level in the account rather than inferring it from the multiplier.
The programme allows you to freeze a level for one month once every twelve months. This can accommodate a break, but has its own timetable and is different from suspending a game category or self-excluding. Before activation, check which period it covers and how the counter will be displayed afterwards.
Promotions and player protection
Accounts classified as at risk are excluded from the programme. Responsible gambling restrictions should not be changed to obtain rewards. If a restriction applies, the appropriate step is to understand its scope through support, not open another account or switch brands to try to avoid it.
Points, bonuses and cashback are different products
An extra-spin promotion awards rounds in a designated game; a turnover offer requires a wagering condition to be completed before bonus funds convert to cash; Piñata Points uses an ongoing formula and weekly settlement. Calling all three cashback hides significant differences. Here the base is weighted wagering rather than a session’s net losses.
The programme’s useful feature is transparency: its calculation can be reproduced, settlement time is specified and expiry can be checked. Its limitations are equally clear: rounding reduces smaller amounts, casino games contribute less than slots, and maintaining a level requires activity. Consult the official Piñata Points rules alongside your account details to resolve differences.
Frequently asked questions
What are 1,000 Piñata Points worth?
They equal a €1 reward. Weekly settlement is rounded down to whole euros and must be claimed before its deadline.
Does roulette generate the same points as slots?
No. The game multiplier is 1.0 for slots and 0.1 for virtual and live casino. At the same stake and level, the latter generate one tenth as many points.
When can I claim the reward?
Rewards are calculated on Mondays at 12:00. You must then claim the amount available in your account within seven days.
What happens if I do not maintain my level?
The review takes place on the first day of each month. Missing the maintenance requirement results in dropping one level. The points counter resets to zero after the review whether the level is retained or reduced.
Can I freeze my level?
The programme offers a one-month freeze once every twelve months. Check the applicable period in your account before activating it.
